Subject Labs
Responsible AI looks different in a math class than it does in English. Each lab gives you three classroom activities, three example prompts you can project, and a printable activity sheet.

English / Language Arts
Protect the writing process. AI may question the writer; it may not become the writer.
Three activities
Thesis Interrogation
Students write a thesis by hand, then ask AI to challenge it with three tough questions. They revise the thesis themselves and explain what improved.
Evidence Audit
Students paste their own body paragraph and ask which claims lack evidence. They find real quotations from the text — AI never supplies the quote.
Two Voices
Students compare their own paragraph with an AI paragraph on the same topic and list five things that make the human version theirs. Discuss what is lost when voice disappears.

Mathematics
The answer is never the goal — the reasoning is. Use AI as a tutor that withholds answers.

Students request one hint at a time and record how many hints they needed. Fewer hints over the week is visible growth.
Find the Error
Students ask AI for a worked solution containing one deliberate mistake, then hunt for it. Excellent for exam review.
Explain My Steps
Students solve first, then ask AI to critique their reasoning without giving a different solution.

Science runs on verification. Every AI claim is a hypothesis until a source confirms it.
Three activities

AI produces three claims about a topic; students verify each against the textbook or a credible site and label them confirmed, unclear, or wrong.

Students ask AI to question their experimental design. AI may ask about variables and controls; it may not design the experiment.

Students ask for two opposing interpretations of an event, then find one real piece of evidence for each side themselves.

AI generates a timeline; students verify every date against a textbook and record every correction they had to make.
